APPRENTICED IN 1989 under Tattoo Master Jonathan Shaw in NYC. Brought his Graffiti style to tattooing and returned to LOS ANGELES in 1993. He then worked in Hollywood Ca under Lettering master Mike Brown. In 1995 he founded Vintage Tattoo Art Parlor. In 1997 he started touring on the convention circuit, which he still does 24 years later. Master Sponser of the Body Art Expo since 2003. He had his own column in Skin and Ink magazine called “The Gospel according to BABA” for 3 years. In 2003 he recruited Tenn. Dave James and Rick Walters to join him at Vintage and on Tattoo tour. He became well known and famous for a bolder , Brighter approach to Neo Traditional tattooing as well as his Epic Lettering skills! In 2011 he was Awarded the Inked Magazine “ICON.” He started doing a detailed Dark Romantic style of Tattooing that has earned him new praise and recognition. Since 1989 always evolving.
